William Caslon

William Caslon  (1693-1766)
the founder of Caslon Typeography.
Although William Caslon was know as a Designer, in his early years caslon started off as an Engraver, he engraved government marks on gunlocks. Through these early year works William Caslon was soon noticed by a group of London printers and booksellers were he was asked to create certain fonts, soon came success and before long William Caslon was designing his own Typography. Typography I dislike


Eeeek, theres just something about this Typography that i really dont like..lol...Its not really suitable for most visual communications, as its hard to read and not good on the eye ;)

Love Mucha's typography style, very elegant.
